Frontal Rainfall

Frontal rainfall occurs when two air masses with different temperatures and densities meet, forcing the warmer, lighter air to rise over the colder, denser air. As the warm air rises, it cools, condenses, and forms clouds, resulting in steady or prolonged rainfall.
